A rare bronze form of an infant Hercules. He stands on a raised sea of serpents in a slight contrapposto stance. His muscular and robust form has an out-stretched arm to hold a candle cup. Wrapped around the other arm and grasped in hand, is the slain snake. Heavily cast, retains traces of original gilt.
