An extraordinary gilt lacquer natsume depicting vessels and objects surrounding the Japanese tea ceremony. Raised silver, iron, gilt, ceramic, and other natural items arranged to suggest use. The artist has utilized a multitude of materials and textures to create a perspective that lifts the objects from the surface of the container.
